The use of Artificial Intelligence in Business

Hello bloggers I am back with my final blog, I know some of you will be really upset by that news! Today I’m talking about the use of AI in businesses in the modern day, so let’s begin:

The use of AI has become increasingly popular and hot topic in terms of some concerns that can arise from it. However, many businesses are using AI to improve their business and make themselves more technologically advanced.

  •          One of the ways in which businesses use AI is through chatbots. According to a Forbes Advisor survey, over 73% of businesses use or plan to use AI- powered chatbots for instant messaging. This can help build customer relationships as they could potentially have any problem, they have solved at any time of the day with 24-hour assistance. An example of a chat-based system would be ChatGPT which can give you answers to a statement you tell it to do, however it can’t make emotional decisions.

  •          Another popular way which businesses use AI is to optimize emails. Forbes Advisor survey also found that 61% of businesses use AI to help improve their email marketing and make it more efficient. AI can develop email campaigns or designs tailored to businesses and consumers preferences without the need for hours of deliberation on email designing etc.

  •          Another well known use of AI for businesses, specifically the automotive industry, is the development of technology for self-driving vehicles. Companies like BMW and Tesla already use AI to operate a self-driving vehicle which still needs a driver present, however several companies are testing the technology to develop fully driverless robotaxis (Economist Intelligence,2023) which receives mixed opinions from people.
