The use of Artificial Intelligence in Business

Image
Hello bloggers I am back with my final blog ☹ , I know some of you will be really upset by that news! Today I’m talking about the use of AI in businesses in the modern day, so let’s begin: The use of AI has become increasingly popular and hot topic in terms of some concerns that can arise from it. However, many businesses are using AI to improve their business and make themselves more technologically advanced.           One of the ways in which businesses use AI is through chatbots. According to a Forbes Advisor survey, over 73% of businesses use or plan to use AI- powered chatbots for instant messaging. This can help build customer relationships as they could potentially have any problem, they have solved at any time of the day with 24-hour assistance. An example of a chat-based system would be ChatGPT which can give you answers to a statement you tell it to do, however it can’t make emotional decisions.           Another popul...

Image
Hello bloggers, I’m back again with another blog and today’s topic is all about search engine optimization. For businesses, improving your website traffic from search engines is very important, so I’m going to give ten tips to boost your website ranking. 1.       Keywords Businesses should look at using keywords on their website. Many people will search general terms such as coffee shops near me, having these keywords in your website can boost your ranking. 2.       Stay up to date I think its important for businesses to stay up to date on how the ranking system works for SEO or if there are any new things that can contribute to it such as Meta tags. 3.       Update the content on website regularly More frequently updated websites rank higher in the search engines so its important for businesses to update their content regularly. 4.       Understand your customers W...

E-Commerce and Internet Technologies

Image
Hello fellow bloggers, I'm back again and today I'll be talking about E-Commerce and Internet Technologies. Today I will be recommending 3 online platforms that particular businesses could integrate into a website to help grow their E-Commerce business! Lets get started: For a New Gym For a new gym the E-Commerce platform I would recommend would be Wix. Wix is a free (with the option of add-ons that can be paid for) platform which companies can build their own website on from scratch. A new gym could use Wix to design a professional looking website. I think Wix is a good choice for the gym as the gym is brand new and more than likely has no website, one of the requirements in the modern day is a website for any business. On the website the gym could have pictures of the gym, payment plans, facilities available etc. to get their new gyms name out there with a hand from Wix that would help the gym with its search engine optimization. A New Clothing Boutique For a new clothing bo...

It is all about engagement!

Image
Hello everybody, I'm back again with another blog, and this week its all about engagement! One of the most important things about any blog posts is that its engaging for the readers, so today I am  going to highlight some of the ways in which you can make a blog engaging! Being Original/Authentic One of the ways you can make your blog more engaging is by being original or having your own ideas. People don’t want to look at you blog and think it’s the same as any old boring blog that isn’t going to entertain anyone, they want a bit of creativity or a personal touch to what they’re reading to make it feel relatable. Just like a person, if your blog is dull and not different at all people will avoid it and seek other forms of entertainment! Use of images Blogs can have a slightly formal approach but also be a bit informal and not too serious as maybe say just a newspaper article. One of the ways you can express your feelings or grab people’s attention and get them to engage with y...

Ethical and Social Challenges of Big Data

Image
Hello bloggers, today I'm highlighting some of the social and ethical challenges of big data! Invasion of Privacy The first challenge that I believe Big Data has is that to consumers it can feel like an invasion of privacy. Many consumers of services such as Netflix, Spotify etc. can feel like they are constantly being tracked and have an influence on the consumer that they are always being watched. Consumers like experiences being personalized but not too personal or they start to think that these companies know everything about them. An example of this would be something like a new mother suddenly getting Tesco vouchers in the post that are offers on baby formula or nappies, something like this can be too personal and have the consumer concerned. Who The Data is Being Shared To Another challenge I believe around big data is about who the data is being shared to. Many companies share data and often certain consumers data can even be sold to other companies/ people. Consum...

3 examples of companies that used Enterprise Applications successfully to support their business strategy and business model.

Hello bloggers! Today I'm discussing companies who have used enterprise applications successfully. There are several companies who have used Enterprise applications successfully which I have listed below: 1.        Starbucks Starbucks is a global retailer of whole bean and ground coffee, speciality coffee drinks, tea and ready to eat sandwiches and baked goods. Starbucks uses Oracle ERP which is a cloud based  software solution   used to automate back-office processes and day-to-day business activities.  It’s a business management software suite that includes financial management, supply chain management, project management, accounting, and procurement (Bischoff, 2023). Starbucks uses a chain business model where its revenue comes from company operated stores followed by licensed stores. The benefits Starbucks has seen using this ERP system is that they can easily get access to information on revenue, expenses, sales data, inventor...
