The use of Artificial Intelligence in Business
Hello fellow bloggers, its the return of the Mac. This week I did 3 short courses on Trailhead, and I have summarized my learnings from each.
Marketing AI
The first course I learned about was marketing AI which
brings breakthrough AI innovation to the number 1 marketing platform to fuel creativity,
efficiency and personalization. The new generative AI capabilities of marketing
AI has a number of benefits:
1.Content Creation- AI can save countless hours on things
like writing campaign briefs or creating segments and content to optimize
performance
2.Scaling AI- AI can help do things like segment
generation and email content generation that can improve customer engagement
3. Conversational interface with technology- You can
use natural language prompts to manage each stage of the campaign lifecycle
more efficiently.
Brand Voice and Tone
The second course I learned about was brand voice and tone. The main thing I learned from this module was that voice and tone are two very different things. Your voice shows your personality, reflects your values and stays constant in everything we write. A tone changes, unlike a voice, a tone varies depending on the audience and their values. Voice remains the same as the values of a company will remain the same and the voice of the company is trying to match those values.
Email Sending in Account Management
The third course I learned about was email sending in
account management. I learned several ways to have effective marketing emails:
1.Target your audience with lists- With account
management you can add recipients into static or dynamic segmentation lists and
remove recipients with a suppression list.
2.Stay on brand with templates- Using a design
template that is on brand with your company can be of high benefit. You can
reuse these templates so you design it once and can use it as many times as you
want.
3. Stay compliant- Stay compliant with all of the relevant
anti-spam and privacy regulations in your area to make sure you aren’t breaking
any rules.
Overall, I thought these 3 modules were informative and of interest in my specialized area of marketing. Id like to hear from anyone who has done any courses themselves and how you found the experience. I will be bag again next week talking about the ethical and social challenges of big data.
This course has caught my attention, I will complete some courses now that are relevant to myself. Thanks for this blog Sean.
